Permit for foreigners engaged in remunerated legal activities
It allows foreigners to obtain a permit to stay in Chile to engage in remunerated activities.
Who is it addressed to?
Foreigners who wish to stay in Chile for a limited time to engage in paid lawful activities under a subordinate or dependent work relationship,  who also meet the corresponding requirements, may apply for this subcategory of Residencia Temporal permit.
What do I need to apply?

This residence permit must be requested from abroad.

How long is it for?
The Residencia Temporal permit can last for up to two years. The permit will be effective from the moment the foreigner enters the country.

Law N°  21.325, on Migración y Extranjería. Regulation Decree N° 296, Decree N° 177, which establishes the Immigration Subcategories of Residencia Temporal.
